[HOW TO] Connecting to Teamspeak 3

Hello guys!

At the beginning you have to download Teamspeak 3 Client Version from http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads.

1. Choose a mirror and click â€œDownloadâ€
2. Accept the TeamSpeak 3.x End User License Agreement by scrolling down and clicking â€œI agreeâ€
3. Download the client file in a directory you prefer

Next step is installing Teamspeak 3 Client. Execute the <.exe> file and follow the wizard.

Then start Teamspeak 3 Client and choose under tab menu â€œSettingsâ€ and there â€œSetup-Wizardâ€. This is a new feature and only available in Teamspeak 3 and it helps you to configure your sound input threshold.

Now you are ready to connect on a server.

Go under tab menu â€œFavouriteâ€ and choose â€œFavouritesâ€

Maybe you get information like <xxx.xxx.xx.xx> and <xxxx> (+password <xxxxxx> if needed) or

<xxx.xxx.xx.xx : xxxx> (+password <xxxxxx> if needed)

The first string of both is the <IP>. The second one the <Port>

1. First press orange marked â€œNew favouriteâ€.
2. Now insert your information into the marked areas.

Now the favourite is added and you only have to press again und tab menu "Favourite" and choose your added server.

GATHER CONNECTION:

Press under tab menu "Connect" and fill the gather information on the same way as I described under favourite adding.

Attention

When your are copying gather IP's you have to be carefully. It could be that there is a whitespace sign in the string. Often it is behind the !
