[HOW TO] Error verifying user ID

Anyways, to come to the problem itself, well sometimes it just solves by it self if you just quit and restart steam. But sometimes it just like to drive you nuts and just does not go away. 1. You have to know your password for the next steps so be aware and if you do not know it try to remember it. 2. If you know your password, go to your Steam folder and delete the following files: SteamUI.dll Steam.dll Clientregistry.blob 3. Start Steam and wait for it to update, as soon as it is done, login. You should not have any problems with the Validation errors. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Dies ist ein altes und einfach zu behebendes Problem. Man muss die Lösung eigentlich nur einmal lesen und weiss es dann immer fast so wie Fahrrad fahren. Also zur Lösung 1. Du MUSST dein Passwort kennen sonst bringt dir der Lösungsansatz garnichts. 2. Wenn du dein Passwort kennst lösche folgende dateien: (sie befinden sich im Steam ordner bzw. C:\Programme\Steam\) SteamUI.dll Steam.dll Clientregistry.blob 3. Starte steam neu und logge dich ein.
