League: Not required but we would like you to start playing ASAP.
Silent Attack Gamings' Airborne Squad (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) is looking for 3 new players as we had to "re-organize" the Team. We had to dismiss a few players for insufficiant activity.
The reason for this drastic move was that some people in this clan thought it was a great idea to give away the RCON passwords like free beer. We are not a social service that gives out free stuff for bums. To add to it, we are paying the servers so we decide who gets the rcons and who does not. We are hereby also asking that the ONLY people to have the RCON are the ADMINS. If however the RCONs are given away again, we will change the rcon again and give it out to only selected Admins.
Team Leaders ONLY will get rcons on request.
We are watching everyone who gets them.
Fu5e.SAG is soon to be a new United Kingdom team. A member who trialled for United and refused soon after to join has kept in contact with me and we have been mixing with him for about a week now. He has started up a team and wants to join Silent Attack!
If you see him on Steam, Teamspeak or the Website, his name is Reno and he will be looking for new members, so if you are looking for a mid clan, and for some reason don't want to join United or Vortex (hehe) then you might want to add him and see.
Update 1: Tests completed and no problems were found. Root is online and runs now a newer kernel. Thanks to ulrich-block.de. I hope this version will run better as the version before. My time was to short, to compile an own version. In the next few days, it can always come times to failures. Currently I still don't know from where the crash comes.
Old News:
The server runs at the moment the rescue system. So all War-Servers are offline.
I will start some tests (fschk, memtest, cpuburn) to check the hardware and after sucess i will update the Kernel to a newer version.
The tests will take some time. I will update the news, when something has changed.
I think the tests will completed until evening. Maybe it turns out that something is wrong with the hardware.
In this case, the exchange would take some time.
United.SAG has an interesting history. It used to be my old clan before I shut that down and moved all the members that were left into Silent Attack. Then it's been passed from leader to leader until it was shut down a few weeks ago, and a new UK squad started called VorteX.SAG.
My point? I miss my old clan, so what I am trying to do is recreate my clan as much as I can within SAG, and the team will be seperate from VorteX completely. It will be called United.SAG.
Anyone interested in joining? Read on.
Team Requirements:
*Active and able to play at least 4 days every week.
*Mid/Mid+ skilled
*From the UK and speaking fluent English
*Minimum age 15
*You MUST have a working Microphone of sufficient quality and Teamspeak 2 AND Teamspeak 3
Timetable of the next few months:
NOW - From now I will start recruiting.
5 PLAYERS - After I get 5 players we will wait a week.
1 WEEK - If everything is okay after the week then we will start playing mixes/funwars.
1 MONTH - If everything is going alright with the mixes after a month then I will consider entering us into a league (namely Enemy Down)
